Biography

Dr. Shen Chen earned his B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2014, graduating with first-class honors. He continued his studies at Nanyang Technological University and the Technical University of Munich, where he obtained a Master of Science in Integrated Circuit Design through a joint degree program in 2018. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Integrated Circuit Design at Nanyang Technological University, with an expected completion date of August 2024. In 2024, Dr. Chen will join the DARE lab to undertake postdoctoral research focusing on developing AI-powered, high-resolution wireless capsule endoscopy systems. His research interests include ultra-low power ASIC design, embedded systems, and AI applications in biomedical engineering.
